NEPSE slides by 9.05 points, market closes at 1393.04 points

The index at Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 9.05 points or 0.65% to close at 1393.04 points. The market had started at 1402.09 reached its highest point at 1402.94 points but it closed at 1393.04 points losing 9.05 points in total.
The total turnover of the day was Rs 32.26 crore where more than 8.28 lakh units of shares were exchanged through 3,862 transactions.
Like yesterday, Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited (SHPC) stood ahead in terms of total turnover with its total turnover exceeding over Rs 2.9 crore. However, Global IME Bank Limited Promoter Share (GBIMEP) was ahead in terms of shares traded as 83.218 units of shares were traded during the day.
First Micro Finance Development Bank Limited (FMDBL) was the top gainer for the day as its value increased by 5.41% to Rs 585. Likewise, Kalika Microcredit Development Bank Limited (KMCDB) was the top loser for the day as its value decreased by 5.3254% to Rs 1599.
Both the Sensitive index and the Float index decreased by 2.02 points and 0.7 point, respectively.
All the indices except Manufacturing & Production ended in red. Among the losing side, Insurance lost 87.65 points which was followed by Hotels which lost 37.29 points. However, Manufacturing & Production ended with no points change today.
