NEPSE slides by 7.19 points, closes at 1406.52

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 7.19 points or 0.51% to close at 1406.52 points.
NEPSE had opened at 1413.17 and it had a huge downfall at the start of the day and had reached 1399.70. But at the end of the day it closed at 1406.52 losing 7.19 points.
The total turnover of the day was Rs 40.48 crore where more than 9 lakh units of shares were exchanged through 4,460 transactions.
Sanima Mai Hydropower Ltd (SHPC) stood ahead in terms of total turnover for the day as well with its total transactions exceeding over 12.20 crore. It was also ahead in terms of shares traded as 2,90,789 shares were traded during the day.
RSDC Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (RSDC) was the top gainer today as their value increased by 5.27% to Rs 1,175. Likewise, Api Power Company (API) was the top loser as its value decreased by 15 points or 3.5714% and its LTP was Rs 405.
Both the Sensitive and Float index decreased by 1.55 points and 0.5 points respectively.
The indices of all the trading groups decreased and landed in red today except Microfinance as it had 4.01 points change in the positive side. Among the losing sides, Hydropower lost 15.17 points which was followed by Others losing 10.74 points.
