NEPSE Slides by 3.34 Points to 1,838.59 Level; Only Three Sectors Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 1,838.59 today after losing 3.34 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.18%. The index gained 2.43 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 1,840.05 and made an intraday high of 1,843.44. In contrast, it went as low as 1,831.20 and ultimately closed at 1,838.59.
259 scrips traded hands via 16,175 transactions. A total of 2,103,791 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 57.83 Crores in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 58.91 Crores.
Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.56 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 163.60 per share. The shares of GBIMEP traded the most.
Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ANLB) gained the highest 6.10% for the day.
Conversely, Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FOWAD) lost the highest 5.99% today.
Only three sector indices closed green, "Mutual Fund" gained the highest 0.43% while "Finance" lost the highest 0.67% today.
