NEPSE shows minimal growth, Increase by meager 1.42 points with total turnover of Rs 35.47 crore

NEPSE index has ended in green today gaining 1.42 points. The market ended on 1,405.95 points.
NEPSE had opened at 1,404.53 points and started its rise at the start of the day itself. It had reached 1411.65 points at its highest point and had started to fall till reaching 1403.59 points.
The total turnover of the day was Rs 35.47 crore where more than 8.51 lakh units of shares were traded through 4,916 transactions.
Sanima Mai Hydropower Company (SHPC) was ahead in terms of total turnover and number of shares traded for the day with its transactions exceeding over Rs 2.67 crore and 63,712 units respectively.
NMB Bank Limited (NMB) made the highest profit today as their value increased by 3.58% to Rs 463. Likewise, Sindhu Bikas Bank Limited (SINDU) was the top loser of the day with 6.28% decrease in its price to Rs 150.
Both sensitive and float index have increased by 0.6 and 0.2 points respectively.
Among the sub-indices, only banking and development bank showed upward movement while the rest ended up in red. Banking gained 5.92 points while the top losing sub-index i.e. Hotel lost 28.02 points.
