NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Significant 17.44 Points Gain; Banking Sector Leads with 1.88% Gain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 17.44 points (0.65%) to settle at 2,693.06. This follows a 0.85-point gain in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,675.61, touching an intraday high at 2,696.78, while the lowest point was 2,666.50. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 8.58 Arba, with 20,759,547 shares traded across 323 companies through 77,316 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.83 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.13 Kharba.
Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 1.05 Arba. The stock closed at Rs. 398.

Meanwhile, Barahi Hydropower Public Limited (BHPL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 5.26%.
Among sectors, the Banking Index posted the highest increase of 1.88%, whereas the Microfinance Index and Non-life Insurance saw the highest loss of 0.26%.
