NEPSE Sees Single-Gain to Settle at 2,066.05 Levels; Market Capitalization At Rs 3.06 Trillion

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 2,066.05 points, as the index rose by a minimal 5.13 points or 0.24% compared to the previous day's closing. Yesterday the index experienced a significant gain of 41.06 points.
The session kicked off with the index opening at 2,058.96 and briefly touching an intraday low of 2,045.98. However, the market reached an intraday high of 2,080.81, before finally settling at the closing value of 2,066.05.
During today's trading, a total of 269 scrips were exchanged through 57,789 transactions, with a substantial volume of shares traded amounting to 5,503,021, representing a turnover of Rs. 2.15 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 30.61 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.79 Kharba.
Soaltee Hotel Limited (SHL) recorded the highest turnover, with an impressive amount of Rs. 16.95 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 461.70.
Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AVYAN) gained the highest 9.09% for the day.
Meanwhile, Himalayan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (HLBSL) experienced the highest decline of 6.53%.
In terms of sector indices, five sector indices closed in red, the "Hotel and Tourism" sector registered the highest gain of 2.67% whereas the "Finance" sector lost the highest, declining by 0.39%.
