The market today reached a high of 1280 points but it stood to lose 0.57% or 7.26 points. The benchmark index closed at 1256.94 points. The ever growing stood at Rs.1.03 Arba which was achieved from trade of 3,222,256 units of shares traded through 10,836 transactions trading scrips of 168 listed companies in the process.
Today’s trade was dominated by Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) as 00,048 units of shares were traded, posting a turnover of Rs.9.36 Crore. The LTP of the commercial bank stock stood at Rs.309 per share.
Everest Insurance Company (EIC) hit the positive circuit to top the highest gainers list. The share price grew by 9.77% or 32 points and closed at Rs.354 per share. Mountain Hydro Nepal (MHNL) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.20% or 5 points to close at Rs.91 per share.
Sensitive Index stood to lose 2.04 points and closed at 271.37 points while Float Index stood to lose 0.83% and closed at 92.55 points.
Trading, Non-Life Insurance, Manufacturing and Life Insurance were among the gaining sub-indices. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone.
