NEPSE rolls down by 18.89 points with turnover above Rs. 68 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) declined by 18.89 points or1.25% to close at 1,495 points. Nepse Index opened at 1514.88 points today and the local bourse was seen in downward trend.
90, 630 units’ shares of Everest Bank Limited (EBL) and 28,883 units’ shares of CBL were traded the most today.
Everest Bank Limited had the highest turnover of Rs 28.93 crore today. The number of transaction of EBL reached 1170. Tomorrow is the book closure for 22nd AGM of Everest Bank.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 68.39 crore where more than 7.23 lakh units shares were traded through 4,808 transactions.
Sensitive index and float index decreased by 4.18 and 1.45 points respectively.
Except “Others” sub-indices, all the sub-indices landed in red zone today. Insurance sub-group plunged by 111.35 points.
