NEPSE Rebounds by 49.09 Points; All Sector Indices Close Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 49.09 points (1.86%) to settle at 2,677.45. This follows a 19.30-point gain in the previous session. The market increased by 49.09 points following the announcement that the central bank will appoint a new governor.

The benchmark index opened at 2,627.68, touching an intraday high at 2,681.58, while the lowest point was 2,617.46. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 7.31 Arba, with 16,888,459 shares traded across 310 companies through 73,054 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.55 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 14.95 Kharba.

Radhi Bidyut Company Limited (RADHI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 41.80 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 750.00.

Five indices led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.

Meanwhile, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) recorded the steepest drop, falling 3.09%.

Sector-wise, the Hotels and Tourism Index posted the highest gain of 3.42%, whereas the Others Index edged up by 0.84%.
