In the press release issued by NEPSE, it has been stated that from Shrawan 1 NEPSE will be conducting full testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) which implies that the online trading will not be implemented from the next month.
Even after the completion of UAT, the online trading cannot be implemented without receiving approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON).
Similarly, NEPSE has mentioned that on Ashadh 17 it will be binding the module with the clearing banks, on Ashadh 19 the module will be presented with the broker members. Similarly, the module will be presented on Ashadh 20to the representatives of Investors forum, Internal testing transaction will be conducted from Ashadh 18 till Ashadh 20 and from Ashadh 21 NEPSE will be bringing the new system into operation through NEPSE’s server.
Till date NEPSE has not received applications from the software companies for the User Acceptance Test. After the selection of the company, the process of UAT is supposed to take 3 months’ time. So, it seems that people will have to show more patience to enjoy Online Trading.
