NEPSE posts loss for the seventh consecutive day after losing double digits today; closes at low of 1140 points

The market today lost double digits points and closed at a low of 1140.01 points. The market slipped by 1.54% or 17.87 points. The turnover was worth Rs.28.80 Crore achieved through trade of 1,090,218 units of shares traded through 7,239 transactions trading scrips of 162 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) posted the highest turnover today worth Rs.1.82 Crore with LTP at Rs.769 per share. Rasuwagadhi Hydropower (RHPL) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 56,655 units of shares. The LTP of the hydropower company stood at Rs.154 per share.

Reliance Finance (RLFL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 3.51% or 4 points and closed at Rs.118 per share. Ganapati Microfinance (GMFBS) was the top loser as it lost 8.38% or 41 points and closed at Rs.448 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 3.79 points and closed at 250.01 points while Float Index lost 1.33 points and closed at 84.36 points.

All the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points today. Commercial banks lost the most at 1.85% or 19.69 points.
