NEPSE posts double digit gain to cross 1315 points today; both ordinary and promoter shares of Rastriya Beema Company hit the positive circuit

The market today reached a high of 1321 points but stood to gain 1.08% or 14.12 points. The benchmark index closed at 1315.45 points. The turnover was of Rs.1.03 Arba achieved from trade of 3,166,467 units of shares traded through 9,919 transactions trading scrips of 170 listed companies in the process.

Today’s trade was dominated by Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) after the bank posted a turnover of Rs.10.31 Crore achieved through trade of 346,806 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.313 per share.

Rastriya Beema Company ordinary shares (RBCL) and promoter shares (RBCLPO) along with Shivam Cements (SHIVM) hit the positive circuit today. Suryodaya Laghubitta (SLBS) was today’s top loser after it lost 7.55% or 68 points and closed at Rs.832 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 1.50 points and closed at 279.74 points while Float Index gained 1.047 points and closed at 96.43 points.

Trading was only losing sub-index today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
