NEPSE plunges by 9.64 points; settles at 1,387.08 points with minimal turnover of Rs 28.55 Crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has depreciated today by 9.64 points or 0.69% to close at 1,387.08 points. Today, the only local bourse of the country opened at 1,396.72 points and was seen declining throughout the day and ultimately ended in the red zone. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 28.55 crore where more than 7.13 lakh unit shares were traded through 3,284 transactions. The market today experienced a decline in the number of transactions carried out. graph Shares of Om Development Bank Ltd. (ODBL) stood ahead in terms of total turnover as more than Rs 3.55 crore worth of its shares were traded today. Similarly, over 1.56 lakh unit shares of Om Development Bank Ltd. (ODBL) exchanged their ownership today making it the highest traded shares. turnoverno of shares Scrips of Suryodaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SLBS) made the highest profit today as their value increased by 3.88% to Rs 965. On the other hand shares of United Modi Hydropower (UMHL) lost the most today with their value tumbling by 5.38% to Rs 211. gainers   top losers Both the Sensitive and float index went down today by 2.12 points and 0.67 points respectively.
