NEPSE Plunges 69.05 Points, All Sectors Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 2,975.84 today after losing a massive 69.05 points from Sunday's closing.

The index opened at 3,047.26 and did not trade at anywhere higher than that. While it went as low as 2,970.51, it ultimately closed at 2,975.84.

A total of 23,109,713 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 13.259 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last Sunday's turnover of Rs. 15.651 Arba. 227 scrips traded hands via 130,774 transactions.

Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 1.01 Arba closing at a market price of Rs. 737 per share. The units of Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1) traded the most.

Karnali Development Bank Limited (KRBL) gained the most 7.58%. On the other side of things, Ru Ru Jalvidut Pariyojana Limited (RURU) lost the most 9.99% today.'

All sectors have taken a hard hit today. Development Bank lost the most 3.48% while Hydropower lost 3.46%.
