NEPSE opens for the week with loss of 9.20 points; turnover stood at Rs.32.95 Crore

On the opening day of the week, the market lost 0.75% or 9.20 points and closed at 1214.83 points. The turnover was worth Rs.32.95 Crore achieved from trade of 1,101,776 units of shares traded through 7,701 transactions trading scrips of 160 listed companies in the process.

NIC Asia Bank (NICA) posted the highest turnover today worth Rs.2.45 Crore with LTP of Rs.451 per share. Rasuwagadhi Hydropower (RHPL) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 82,602 units of shares. The LTP of the hydropower company stands at Rs.205 per share.

Global IME Laghubitta (GILB) was today’s top gainer as it gained 9.85% or 67 points and closed at Rs.747 per share. Gurans Laghubitta (GLBSL) was today’s top loser as it lost 4.75% or 25 points and closed at Rs.501 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.57 points and closed at 263.11 points while Float Index lost 0.54 points and closed at 89.41 points.

Manufacturing sector was the only gaining sub-index today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
