NEPSE loses more than 10 points as turnover declines; 2.5 lakh units of GUFLPO traded

The market today, that had lost double digit points within the first hour of opening and was in the red zone for the whole day, lost 10.56 points or 0.86% and closed at 1216.93 points. Today’s turnover was at Rs.24.92 Crore which was achieved from trade of 987,321 units of shares through 4,532 transactions trading scrips of 160 listed companies.

Gurkhas Finance Limited Promoter Shares (GUFLPO) stood ahead in terms of turnover and shares traded after trade of 257,850 units of shares posting a turnover of Rs.2.57 Crore.

Ridhi Hydropower (RHPC) gained 7.84% or 8 points, gaining the most today. The LTP of the hydropower company stands at Rs.110 per share. Another hydropower company, Rairang Hydropower (RRHP) lost 7.87% or 10 points to lose the most today. The LTP of the hydropower company stands at Rs.117 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 2.11 points and closed at 258.85 points while Float Index lost 0.75 points and closed at 88.47 points.

All the sub-indices ended in the red zone today. Hotels were the top losing sector after posting a loss of 2.57% or 48.76 points.
