NEPSE Loses Huge 31.97 Points to Settle at 1,885.31 Levels; All Sector Indices Closed Red

The NEPSE index closed at 1,885.31 today after losing 31.97 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 1.67%. The index lost 16.61 points last Thursday.
The index opened at 1,916.04 and made an intraday high of 1,918.51. It then made an intraday low of 1,883.09 and ultimately closed at 1,885.31.
253 scrips traded hands via 24,644 transactions. A total of 3,512,834 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 1.103 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.654 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.93 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 529.30 per share.
CYC Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CYCL) gained the highest 10% and hit a positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Nadep Laghubittiya Bittya Sanstha Ltd. (NADEP) lost all 10% today.
All sector indices closed red, "Banking" lost the highest by 2.30% while "Life Insurance" lost the least by 0.85%.
