NEPSE loses 8.10 points to close at 1,210.88 points; Promoter shares of Hathway Finance occupy 10% of the total turnover

NEPSE has lost 8.10 points to end the day at 1,210.88 points. The market that had started at 1,218.98 points kept decreasing throughout the day. The total turnover has also decreased to stand at Rs 27.74 crore. During the trading period, the shares of 162 listed companies were traded through 3,794 transactions.

The promoter shares of Hathaway Finance Company Limited (HATHPO) was the top traded shares in terms of turnover as well as unit traded. 2,98,363 unit promoter shares worth Rs 2.98 crore were exchanged in the trading period. It occupies about 10% of the total turnover for the day.

Support Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMB) was the top gainer for the day as the price of the share increased by 78 points to close at Rs 888. However, the shareholders of Green Development Bank Limited (GRDBL) lost the most during the day as the price decreased by 12 points and its LTP stood at Rs 114.

Both the sensitive and float index decreased by 2 points and 0.67 points respectively.

Out of the sub-indices, only Manufacturing and Production and Microfinance stood in the green zone. Manufacturing and Production registered 24.68 points increment while Non-Life Insurance sector recorded a fall of 58.59 points.
