NEPSE Loses 61.27 Points and Closes at 2,758.48; Twelve of Thirteen Sectors Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 2,758.48 today after losing 61.27 points from last Thursday's closing. The index had gained 2.7 points that day.

The index opened at 2,836.36 and made the intraday high at 2,844.09. However, it began to lose from there, going as low as 2,756.51. The index then ultimately closed at 2,758.48.

A total of 14,494,260 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 6.5 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last Thursday's turnover of Rs. 7.726 Arba. 223 scrips traded hands via 73,693 transactions.

Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 33.95 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 575 per share. The units of Nabil Balanced Fund - 2 (NBF2) traded the most.

Manakamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MKLB) gained the most 10% while ICFC Finance Limited (ICFC) lost the most 8.98%.

12 of 13 sectors closed red. Only Mutual Fund gained a minimal 0.21% while Finance lost the most 5.89%.
