NEPSE loses 4.36 points as sellers book a week's profit; Turnover still promising

Market showed its volatile form to end the day as the market was continuously increasing and decreasing throughout the day. At its highest point, the market reached 1,247.18 points while at the lowest point, the market reached 1,224.41 points. At the end of the day, market closed at 1,229.77 points losing 4.36 points.

Total turnover for the day was of Rs 79.33 crore which was achieved through the trade of 32,28,569 units. Shares of 174 listed companies were exchanged through 8,585 transactions.

NMB Bank Limited (NMB) was ahead in terms of turnover for the day as shares worth Rs 10.34 crores were traded during the day. It was also ahead in terms of units traded as 3,08,143 units were traded.

Kabeli Bikas Bank Limited (KEBL) was the top gainer for the day as the price of the share increased by 25 points and its LTPO stood at Rs 284. However, Multipurpose Finance Company Limited (MPFL) was the top loser for the day losing 18 points to set its LTP at Rs 176.

Both the sensitive index and float index decreased by 0.81 points and 0.5 points respectively.

Out of the sub-indices, only Trading, Manufacturing & Production and Others ended on the green zone. Manufacturing and Production gained 20.41 points while Non-Life Insurance lost 84.07 points.
