NEPSE loses 4.20 points on the opening day of the week; five microfinance companies hit the positive circuit today

The market opens for the week with loss of 0.33% or 4.20 points and closed at 1259.64 points today. The turnover stood at Rs.47.41 Crore achieved from trade of 1,467,464 units of shares traded through 7,765 transactions trading scrips of 169 listed companies in the process.

Today’s trade was dominated by Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) with turnover of Rs.5.12 Crore achieved through trade of 154,007 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.335 per share.

Five microfinance companies hit the positive circuit today. Among them Swarojgar Laghubitta (SLBBL) and Sparsha Laghubitta (SPARS) gained the most at 10% each. Himalayan Power partner (HPPL) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.05% or 9 points and closed at Rs.169 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.75 points and closed at 271.78 points while Float Index lost 0.27 points and closed at 92.70 points.

Finance and Microfinance were the only gaining sub-indices today while rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
