NEPSE Index went up by 9.21 points to close at 1151.38 points; Prudential insurance hits circuit break, 26,974 units traded

On the last trading day of the week,  the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by points or 0.81% to close at 1,151.38 points. Opening at 1141.58 points this afternoon, the local brouse was seen in an upward trend today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 55.73 crore where more than 11 lakhs unit shares were traded through 4,257 transactions. Prudential Insurance Co. Ltd. (PICL) hit circuit break today. 26,974 units of PICL worth Rs 1.59 crore was traded through 75 transactions. The opening price of PICL was Rs 542/unit while it closed at Rs Rs 596/unit. Sensitive index and the float index went down up by 1.72  points and 0.64 points respectively. Except others, all the sectors at Nepse landed in green.
