NEPSE Index went up by 0.98 points to close at 1441.67 levels; turnover of Rs 90.79 crore

On the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 0.98 points or 0.07 % to close at 1441.67 level. Opening at 1441.44 level this afternoon, the local bourse went down to 1434.75 points during first trading hour of the day and after that it was in upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 90.79 crore where more than 12.39 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3598 transactions. Sensitive index went up by 0.27 points whereas Float index went down by 0.03 point. Except Development Bank, Hydropower, Finance and others sector, all the sectors landed in green. Insurance sector went up by 59.06 points.
