On the first trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 0.85 points or 0.06 % to close at 1318.88 points.
Today NEPSE index opened at 1318.08 points and went up to 1321.55 points during the first trading hour.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1 arba where more than 14.60 lakh unit shares were traded through 4,293 transactions. 191,810 units of National Hydropower Co. Ltd. worth Rs 3.26 crore, and 133,833 units of Agricultural Development bank Ltd worth Rs 9.58 crore were traded today.
Sensitive index went up by points and float index went up by 0.26 and 0.08 points respectively.
Except banking, hotels and development bank, all the sectors landed in green.
