NEPSE Index went up by 0.65 points to close at 1312.85 points; 5 companies hit circuit break; Turnover stood Rs 73.84 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 0.65 points or 0.05% to close at 1312.85 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1311.53 points, the local bourse went down to 1308 points during second trading hour of the day and after that it was in upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 73.84 crore where more than 11.96 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3,597 transactions. Central Finance Company Limited, Lumbini General Insurance Limited, Prudential Insurance Company Limited, Barun Hydropower Company Limited and Manaslu Bikas Bank Limited hit circuit break today. Sensitive index and the float index went up by 0.09 points and 0.02 points respectively. Except banking and insurance, all the sectors at Nepse landed in red. Insurance sector rises by 71.73 points.
