NEPSE Index went down by 0.14 points to close at 1213.57 points; Insurance sector plunges by double digit

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by 0.14 points or 0.01% to close at 1213.57 points. Today index opened at 1213.68 points and remained fluctuating throughout the day. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 44.60 crore where more than 6 lakhs unit shares were traded through 2,207 transactions. Sensitive index and the float index went up by 0.25 points and 0.05 points respectively. Except Hotels, Insurance and Finance sectors, all the sectors at Nepse landed in green. Insurance sector went down by 34.29 points.
