NEPSE Index went up by 0.27 points to close at 1,283.94 points; Development Banks went up by 20.68 points

On the second trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 0.27 points or 0.02% to close at 1,283.94 points.
Today NEPSE index opened at 1283.79 points and went up to 1287.41 points during the first trading hour.
Prices of Microfinance sky rockets in the secondary market as governor confirms the hike in paid up capital of microfinance companies.
There are seven microfinance companies in the top ten gainers list today.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 52.20 crore where more than 6 lakhs unit shares were traded through 2,267 transactions.
Sensitive index went down by 0.09 points and float index went up by 0.01 points respectively.
Except banking, finance and others, all the sectors landed in green.
