NEPSE Index went up by 5.58 points to close at 1,289.52 points; Turnover of Rs 51.2 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 5.58 points or 0.43% to close at 1,289.52 points.
Today NEPSE index opened at 1284.03 points and was seen in an upward trend.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 51.27 crore where more than 10.48 lakhs unit shares were traded through 2,552 transactions.
Sensitive index and the float index went down up by 1.14 points and 0.51 points respectively.
Except Hotels and Hydropower, all the sectors landed in green. Development Bank, Finance, Insurance and Manufacturing & production went up by double digit.
