Nepse Index up by meager 3.65 points to close at 1409.43 points; business as usual

On the first trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 3.65 points or 0.26% to close at 1,409.43 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1406.07 points and went up to 1415.93 points during the first trading hour of the day. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 66.15 crore where more than 9.23 lakhs unit shares were traded through 2,967 transactions. Sensitive index and float index went up by 0.79 and 0.76 points respectively. Except Hotels and Others, all the sectors at Nepse landed on green. Banking sector went up by 13.56 points whereas Insurance sector went up by 61.2 points.
