Nepse Index up by 9.88 points to close at 1440.69 points supported by a Turnover of Rs 1.07 arba; Banking sector up by 16.23 points

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by  9.88 points or 0.69%  to close at 1,440.69 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1430.36 points and went up to  1443.78 points during the first trading hour of the day. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.07 arba where more than 13.97  lakhs unit shares were traded through 4,102  transactions. Today, Everest Bank Limited was the top stock by turnover of Rs. 20.46 crore. Sensitive index and float index went up by 2.38 and 0.71 points respectively. Except Hydropower and Insurance sector, all the sector at Nepse landed in green. Banking sector went up by 16.23 points.
