NEPSE Index up by 6.53 points supported by turnover of Rs 96.62 crore; Insurance sector rises by 111.84 points, SCB dominates top turnover list

On the last trading day of the week,  the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) rises by 6.53 point or 0.45% to close at 1464.91 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1458.38 points and was seen in an upward trend. 1, 38,385 unit shares of Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme (SEOS) was most traded shares today. Taragaon Regency Hotel (TRH) hit circuit break today. Standard Chartered Bank Limited (SCB)  topped the turnover list with Rs 17.73 crore as tomorrow is the book closure date for 25% bonus share of the commercial bank . The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 96.62 crore where more than 12.71 lakh unit shares were traded through 4,261 transactions. Sensitive index and the float index went up by 1.38 points and 0.27 points respectively. Except others, all sectors landed in green. Insurance sector surges by 111.84 points. tg tl traded transac turn
