Nepse Index up by 4.59 points to close at 1220.70 points;Unilever pushes Manufacturing & Production by 26.41 points

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 4.59 points or 0.38% to close at 1220.70 points. Today nepse index opened at 1216.04 points and was seen in an upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 42.34 crore where more than 6 lakhs unit shares were traded through 1,977 transactions. Sensitive index and the float index went up by 1.05 points and 0.29 points respectively. Except Hotels and others, all the sectors at Nepse landed in green. Hotel sector went down by 21.97 points. Manufacturing & production went up by 26.41 points as Unilever Nepal Ltd gained 2% or Rs 509/unit to close at Rs 25,988/unit.
