NEPSE index up by 2.92 points; 1.91 lakh unit shares of NHPC traded, Insurance & Hotel up by double digit

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 2.92 points or 0.22%  to close at 1315.77 level. Opening at  1312.87 level this afternoon, the local brouse  the local bourse was seen in upward trend today. 191,610 unit shares of National Hydropower Company Limited (NHPC)  and 81,352 unit shares of Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) were traded today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 70.88  crore where more than 10.23 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3,408 transactions. Sensitive  index and the float index went up by 0.62 points and 0.19 points respectively. Except development banks,hydropower  and others, all sectors at NEPSE landed green. Hotels and Insurance sector went up by double digit.
