Nepse Index up by 2.21 points to close at 1,430.81 points; Turnover of Rs. 82.63 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by  2.21 points or 0.15% to close at 1,430.81 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1428.60 points and went up to 1440.15 points during the first trading hour of the day. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 82.36  crore where more than 19.27 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3,819  transactions. Sensitive index and float index went up by 0.53 and 0.02 points respectively. Banking, Hotels and Others sector landed on green. Hydropower sector went down by 14.36 points.
