Nepse Index up by 2.16 points to close at 1,377.42 points; Business as usual

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 2.16 points or 0.16% to close at 1,377.42  points. Today NEPSE index opened at  1375.32 points and went up to 1380.36 points during the first trading hour of the day. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 55.60  crore where more than 9 lakhs unit shares were traded through 2,849 transactions. Sensitive index went up by 0.38 points and  float index went down by 0.03 points. Banking, Finance, Insurance, Manufacturing & Production landed on green, whereas Hotels, Development Banks, Hydropower and others landed on red. Insurance sector went up by 39.22 points.
