Nepse Index up by 19.17 points to close at a new high 1,428.60 points; Turnover of Rs. 90.67 crore

On the first trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 19.17 points or 1.36% to close at 1,428.60 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1409.44 points and was seen in an upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 90.67 crore where more than 19 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3,868 transactions. Sensitive index and float index went up by 4.49 and 1.53 points respectively. Except Manufacturing & Production and Others, all the sectors at Nepse landed on green. Insurance sector went up by 123.4 points whereas Banking sector went up by 21.85 points.
