Nepse Index up by 16.17 points to close at 1483.68 points supported by a turnover of Rs. 74.74 crore; Banking & Insurance sector pushes the market upward

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 16.17 points or 1.10% to close at 1,483.68 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1467.51 points and was seen in an upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 74.74 crore where more than 11.63 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3,807 transactions. Sensitive index and float index went up by  3.67and 1.15 points respectively. Top stocks by turnover list consists of 7 commercial banks, 2 insurance companies and 1 hydropower company. Except Manufacturing & Production, all the sectors at Nepse landed in green. Insurance sector went up by 115.56 points & Banking sector went up by 16.51 points.
