NEPSE Index up by 12.68 points to close at 1454.35 points; 1.28 lakh unit shares of NBB traded, Commercial banks rises by 17.66 points

On the first trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 12.68 points or 0.89% to close at 1454.35 points.
Today NEPSE index opened at 1441.79 points and was seen in an upward trend.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 85.93 crore where more than 10.61 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3,641 transactions.
1, 28,640 unit shares of Nepal Banladesh Bank Limited were traded today and its share price increased by 5.42 % to close at Rs 622.
Tinau Development Bank, Saptakoshi Development Bank and Manjushree finance hit circuit break today.
Sensitive index and the float index went up by 2.98 points and 0.95 points respectively.
Except hydropower and finance company, all other sectors at Nepse landed in green. Insurance and Banking sector rises by 59.06 & 17.66 points respectively.
