Nepse Index up by 11.61 points to close at new high of 1,357.14 points supported by turnover of Rs. 84.45 crore; Insurance sector down by 43.32 points

On the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 11.61points or 0.86% to close at 1,357.14 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1345.59 points and was seen in an upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 84.45 crore where more than 13.35 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3,958 transactions. Sensitive index and the float index went up by 2.92 points and 0.76 points respectively. Except Hydropower, Finance and Insurance, all the sectors at Nepse landed in green. Insurance sector plunged by 43.32 points.
