Nepse Index up by 1.86 points to close at 1109.29 levels

On the last trading day of the week before Tihar, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 1.86 points or 0.17% to close at 1109.29 levels. Opening at 1107.20 levels this afternoon, the local brouse went down to 1103.85 levels during second trading hour of the day. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 19.46 crore where more than 4.04 lakhs unit shares were traded through 1,302 transactions. Sensitive index and the float index went up by 0.16 points and 0.21 points respectively. Except Hydropower, Manufacturing & Production and Others sector, all the sectors at NEPSE landed in green.
