Nepse Index tumbled by 23.82 points to close at 1582.47 points; Turnover above Rs 82.82 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) dropped by 23.82 points or 1.48% to close at 1582.47 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1605.16 points and was seen fluctuating. 123,088. units shares of NMB Sulav Investment Fund-1 (NMBSF1)  and 90,641 .unit shares of Nabil Balance Fund-1  (NBF1) were traded most today. Everest Bank Limited and National Life Insurance Company Limited have the highest turnover of Rs 91.35 crore and Rs 67.95 crore respectively today. Srijana Finance Limited (SFFIL) hit circuit break today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 82.82 crore where more than 12.69 lakh units’ shares were traded through 5,918 transactions. Sensitive and float index went down by 5.28 and 1.84 points respectively. All trading groups landed in red. Sub-indices of insurance group dipped by 124.15 points.
