Nepse Index tumbled by 0.63 points to close at 1792.73 points; Turnover above Rs 50.86 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went down by 0.63 points or 0.04% to close at 1792.70 points. Nepse Index opened at 1791.83 points and and went up to 1794.67 points during the first trading hour of the day and was seen in downward trend. 78,851 unit shares of Kumari Bank Limited and 51,936 unit shares of Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini Limited (BOKL) were traded more today. Reliable Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Kamana Bikas Bank Limited hit circuit break today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 50.86 crore where more than 7.004 lakh units’ shares were traded through 3,190 transactions. Sensitive and float index went down by 0.06 and 0.27 points respectively. Except Hotels, Insurance and others sectors, all sectors at Nepse landed in red. Insurance sector rose by 8.95 points.
