NEPSE Index Surges By 21.62 Points to Settle at 2,638.60; All Sectors Close at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 21.62 points (0.82%) to settle at 2,638.60. This follows a 27.59 point loss in the last trading day of previous week.
The benchmark index opened at 2,614.67, touching an intraday high of 2,638.64 and a low of 2,614.26. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 4.23 arba, with 9,364,938 shares traded across 329 companies through 49,093 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.38 kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.10 Kharba.

SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 37.72 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,871.10 .

Salapa Bikas Bank Limited (SABBL) led the gainer list with 10.00% change in its price. The stock closed at Rs. 483.10.

Nepal SBI Bank Limited (SBI) recorded a drop, falling by 3.58% change in its price. The stock closed at Rs 408.80.

Among the sectors, Hotels And Tourism Index witnessed a highest gain by 2.07%, while Mutual Fund recorded a least gain by 0.09%.
