NEPSE Index Spikes Up By 38.19 Points on First Trading Day of This Week

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double digit gain today, inclining by 38.19 points (1.39%) to settle at 2,783.85. This comes after gain of of 27.49 points in the previous trading session on yesterday.

 

The benchmark index opened at 2747.21 and reached an intraday high of 2,783.99, while the day’s low stood at 2,747.18. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.61 Arba, with 10,439,432 shares traded across 332 companies through 68,444 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.48 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.84 Kharba.

 

Reliance Spinning Mills Limited (RSML) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 21.11 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 3,825.00.


First Micro Finance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FMDBL) Led the gainer's list with 14.19%. The Stock closed at Rs. 919.00.


Meanwhile, Trishuli Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (TVCL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 2.87%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 544.90.


Among sectors, the Others Index registered the highest gain by 2.11%, while Mutual Fund recorded least gain, gaining by 0.06%.
