Nepse Index slides by 16.14 points on the first trading day after Dashain Festival; Minimal turnover of Rs 60.08 crore

On the first trading day after Dashain Festival, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went down by 16.14 points or 0.89% to close at 1803.74 points. Nepse Index opened at 1819.39 points and was seen on downward trend. 286,231 unit share of Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) and 58,598 unit shares of Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini Limited (BOKL) were traded more today Jyoti Bikas Bank Limited (JBBL) hit circuit break today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 60.08 crore where more than 7.67 lakh units’ shares were traded through 3,254 transactions.
