Nepse Index signals stability; Positive by 6.65 points with turnover above Rs 48 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) closed positively at 6.65 points or 0.44% to close at 1516.08 points. Nepse Index opened at 1509.45 points today. The capital market index increased on the first trading hour. The bourse lowered to 1502.21 points in between and increased afterward.  54,500 units shares of Global IME Sammunat Scheme 1 (GIMES1) and 36,877 units shares of Civil Bank Limited (CBL) were traded more today. Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) hit positive circuit whereas Arun Finance Limited (ARUN) hit negative circuit. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 48.61 crore where more than 7.53 lakh units shares were traded through 3,739 transactions. Sensitive index and float index went up by 1.54 points and 0.58 points respectively. Except Hotels and Finance, all the sub-indices landed in green. Insurance sector increased by 59.66 points.
