NEPSE Index Sheds 0.32% While Volume Declined to Rs. 79.68 Crores; NMBMF Hits Positive Circuit

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 1,961.37 points, as the index lost a minimal 6.45 points or 0.32% compared to the previous day's closing. The index gained 7.04 points yesterday.
The session kicked off with the index opening at 1,966.8 and made an intraday high of 1,974.11. However, the market reached an intraday low of 1,954.19, before finally settling at the closing value of 1,961.37.
During today's trading, a total of 277 scrips were exchanged through 25,227 transactions, with a substantial volume of shares traded amounting to 2,480,929, representing a turnover of Rs. 79.68 Crores. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 29.36 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.33 Kharba.
Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited Promoter (HEIP) recorded the highest turnover of Rs. 7.58 crores and closed at a market price of Rs. 412.10.
Similarly, NMB Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (NMBMF) gained the highest 10%, hitting the upper circuit for the day.
Meanwhile, RBB Mutual Fund 2 (RMF2) lost all 10% today.
In terms of sector indices, only two sector indices closed in green. "Trading Index" gained the highest 0.46% while "Hotels And Tourism Index" lost the highest 0.79% today.
