NEPSE index rises by 5.27 points to close at 1458.38 levels; 3.79 lakh unit shares of NHPC traded today, Insurance up by 48.24 points

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) rises by 5.27 points or 0.36 % to close at 1458.38 points. Opening at 1452.68 points this afternoon, the local bourse decline to 1448.55 points during first trading hour of the day and after that it was seen in upward trend 379,067 unit shares of National Hydropower Company Limited (NHPC) were traded today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 86.13 crore where more than 13.44 unit shares were traded through 3,637 transactions. Sensitive index and the float index went up by 1.17 points and 0.41 points respectively. Except Hotels, Hydropower and Finance sectors, all sectors landed in green. Insurance and Development bank surges by 48.24 and 18.89 points  respectively.
