Nepse Index rises by 2.46 points with turnover of Rs 81.82 crore; Insurance sector surges by 105.08 points

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went up by 2.46 points or 0.14% to close at 1753.46 points.
Nepse Index opened at 1752.71 points and it dipped to 1737.10 points during the second trading hour of the day after that it was seen on upward trend.
81,115 unit share of Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) and 78,539 Janata Bank Nepal Limited (JBNL) were traded most today
Janauthhan Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (JSLBB) and Civil Bank Limited (CBL) hit circuit break today.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 81.82 crore, where more than 10.54 lakh units’ shares were traded through 4,570 transactions.
Sensitive and float index went up by 0.71 and 0.09 points respectively.
Except Banking, Development Bank and Hydropower group, sub-indices of all trading groups landed in green. Insurance sector rises by 105.08 points.
Sub-indices of Banking, Development Bank and Hydropower group dipped by 0.2 points, 6.39 points and 0.51 points respectively.
