Nepse Index plunges by 24.63 points with turnover of Rs 76.37 crore; Insurance sector plunges by 129.69 points

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went down by 24.63 points or 1.41% to close at 1724.49 points. Nepse Index opened at 1749.10 points and was seen in downward trend. 179,106 unit share of Civil Bank Limited (CBL) and 67,693 unit shares of Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited (MNBBL) were traded most today Vibor Society Development Bank Limited (VSDBL) hit circuit break today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 76.37 crore where more than 10.38 lakh units’ shares were traded through 4,531 transactions. Sensitive and float index went down by 5.78 and 1.85 points respectively. All trading groups landed in red. Insurance sector dipped by 129.69 points.
